Teen Driver Education Package

Description:
At Maintain Your Lane Driving School, we offer a comprehensive Driver Education course that includes two phases:
Classroom Instruction: 30 hours of online learning designed to provide foundational knowledge and prepare teens for safe driving.
Behind-the-Wheel Training: 6 hours of hands-on driving experience to reinforce what is learned in the classroom.
This course is open to students aged 14½ to 17 years old. It includes a vision/medical screening as part of the requirements.
Important:
No scheduling or access to the online course will be provided until payment is successfully completed. Students will be given a total of 8 weeks to complete the online portion of class.
Scheduling for the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training will only take place after the successful completion of the 30-hour online classroom course & a successful vision screening.
Upon Completion of the classroom portion of driver education, students will meet their assigned driver instructor at Maintain Your Lane Driving School to start the 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation, funds will be prorated based on the amount of services already provided and the time consumed. Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded accordingly.

Student Transfer Process Assistance
Description:
This package is designed for teen drivers under 18 who are transferring from another driving school and have already completed the required 30 hours of classroom instruction. Maintain Your Lane Driving School offers 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training to fulfill the driving phase for students who do not need a North Carolina Learner's Permit but still need to complete the driving requirement.
Requirements:
Students must have successfully completed their 30 hours of Classroom Instruction.
Students must have passed the Vision/Medical Check.
A SBTS 800 (Restricted Instruction Permit) from the previous school is required.
Important:
Scheduling for the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training will only take place after the Student Transfer Process is complete
Student Transfer Process may take up to 30 business day to completete: A $50 non-refundable paperwork processing fee is included in the price
Cancellation Policy:
If a transfer is cancelled, a $400 refund will be issued.
Road Test

To schedule your DMV Road Test, students must meet all of the following criteria:
Hold a valid NC Level 1 Limited Learner Permit
Be at least 16 years old
Have held the Level 1 permit for at least 9 months
Test date must be on or after the eligibility date printed on the back of the permit
Have completed all required supervised driving hours
Be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is the supervising driver
Meet DMV eligibility requirements under G.S. 20-11 and G.S. 20-13.2

For insurance and liability purposes, all road tests will be administered using Maintain Your Lane Driving School company vehicles. Personal vehicles are not permitted for use during the test.

Customized Driving Lesson Description:
Whether you're a new driver or just looking to improve your skills, Maintain Your Lane Driving School offers personalized driving lessons designed to address specific weaknesses or ease anxiety. These lessons can be taken individually or in blocks of 90 minutes
Special Feature:
Night driving lessons are also available for those looking to gain experience in low-light conditions.
Requirements:
Students must hold at least a NC Learner's Permit.
Cancellation Policy:

Each scheduled lesson must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for any lesson cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or for no-shows.

Please note that scheduling and access to the online course cannot take place without full payment. Your spot is not reserved until payment is made. Additionally, behind-the-wheel training scheduling will not occur until you have completed the 30-hour online classroom portion of the course.
Important Eligibility Disclaimer
If a student turns 18 years old while completing the 30-hour online classroom portion of driver education, they will not be eligible to drive with a driving school until they have obtained a North Carolina Learner’s Permit from the DMV. Once a student turns 18, they are no longer covered under the minor driver education requirements and must follow the adult licensing process, which includes obtaining a permit before any behind-the-wheel instruction can begin. Please plan accordingly to avoid delays in scheduling your driving lessons.
Photo & Media Release Disclaimer
As part of our program, photos and/or videos of students may be taken during lessons, events, or certificate celebrations. These images may be used for marketing purposes on our website, social media pages, and promotional materials. By enrolling in our program, you are granting Maintain Your Lane Driving School permission to use these images. If you do not wish for your child or yourself to be photographed or featured, please contact us directly and let us know in writing. Thank you for your support and for watching us grow!
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Policy
Due to insurance and safety regulations, Maintain Your Lane Driving School can no longer provide pick-up or drop-off services for students who do not possess a valid learner’s permit. All students must have their permit in hand at the time of service in order to be eligible for transportation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and compliant learning environment.
