CEO of Maintain Your Lane | Lead Driving Instructor
David Applewhite is a seasoned educator, passionate driving instructor, and the CEO of Maintain Your Lane. With over 10 years of teaching experience both in the classroom and on the road, David brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine commitment to student success. As the Lead Driver Ed Instructor, he ensures that each lesson is not only informative but also enjoyable and impactful.
David is also an active coach, serving as the head coach for both football and track, instilling discipline, teamwork, and leadership in his athletes. His dedication to his community and his students is clear in all areas of his life, from the classroom to the field.
A proud alumnus of Elizabeth City State University, David was honored with the prestigious Simon Award in 2017-2018 for his outstanding contributions to education and coaching.
A father and husband, David understands the importance of responsibility, safety, and commitment both on and off the road. His goal is to help each student build the skills and confidence needed to become a safe, responsible, and skilled driver.
Driving Instructor
Aiesha Morris is a dedicated and experienced driving instructor with a strong background in education. A proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, Aiesha has spent over 5 years working with students in Wake County Public Schools, where she developed a passion for teaching and fostering the growth of young minds.
In addition to her work in public schools, Aiesha has spent 2 years as an instructor at Wake Tech Community College, expanding her expertise and working with a diverse range of students. Her approachable and patient teaching style ensures that every student feels supported as they develop the skills and confidence needed to drive safely.
Aiesha is committed to helping each student not only pass their driving test but also understand the importance of road safety, responsibility, and confidence behind the wheel.
